Katherine Heigl has revealed that she grew up in a white bubble, and how this realization affected how she cared for her adoptive multiracial children. In the latest episodes of "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" as well as "Grey's Anatomy" actress Katherine Heigl revealed that she didn't care about the color of her skin until she got to know her adoptive sister from South Korea. Meg was asked if her treatment was different when they were out together with their parents or the time they were on their own. Meg responded "Oh Yes! All the times!" This made me realize I had been so naive," Heigl said to parents. She became enraged, and she decided to use that anger to support her two adopted daughters. Heigl has a son of 4 year with Josh Kelley, her husband for 13 years. They took in Nancy Leigh (age 12) from South Korea and Adalaide (age 8) and is black, in 2009.
