Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actress who has been praised for her leading roles on a number of TV shows, and for her enthralling performances in movies. Her work is well-known on both Canadian as well as American Television. Emily began acting at 12 when she was visiting her sister Katie in one of Katie's movies. When she realized that acting was her interest, she started to take acting lessons and attend auditions. She was initially cast in commercials, but she was not cast until being offered a role on the Canadian kids' horror TV show Are You Fearful of Darkness? It was just one scene with no dialog. Her first break came at the age of 15, after she was spotted on the show on WB's Glory Days as a regular. Emily's talents attracted the attention of Greg Berlanti when the show was canceled after just nine episodes. He cast Emily for Everwood the new television show. Emily, who is also a photographer and ballerina was recognized by Teen magazine as one the top actresses who are younger than. The Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 listed Emily as 51.

The children were sleeping in the crib and I was strapped to a baby on my back. Ha! The house was getting closer to finishing, but the project was still a distance to go.
